According to a report by Los Angeles Times, the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) page was recruiting contributors for a new quarterly magazine called Ahyah-e-Khilafat.
It had 281 "likes" as of Friday evening and included posts in English, mostly bland, PG-rated job postings for positions like video editor, translator and writer of "jihadi current affairs" and Islamic movements, the Washington Post reports.
A post on the social networking site gave an email address and asked readers to 'plz spread' the message.
Last week TTP spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan confirmed that the faction was "temporarily" using the page "to fulfil its requirements" before launching its own website.
The TTP Facebook page described the publication as its "official quarterly magazine" and asked writers to submit articles "on (a) topic of your choice", or on jihadi current affairs, history, Islamic movements or the plight of Muslims.
