iPad 5
The iPad is set to get an all-new look in its fifth iteration, one that we have seen before. Apple is said to have redesigned the iPad 5 and made it look like a bigger version of the current iPad mini. This, combined with the new display technology, will make the device thinner and lighter than the current full-sized iPad.
The new iPad is also expected to get the Touch ID fingerprint scanner and 64-bit A7 chip. A faster A7X chipset may also debut in the new iPad since Apple usually uses its fastest processors in its top-end tablet. Other likely features are M7 motion co-processor and Space Grey and Gold colour options and 8MP rear camera.
iPad mini 2
iPad mini 2 is widely expected to have a Retina display and screen resolution of 2048x1536p, which will result in twice the number of pixels compared to Apple's current mini-tablet. It is expected to get a processor upgrade, with the A5X or A6 chipsets rumoured to be used in the device.
Apple launched the new iPhones with support for more 4G networks than previous models, including the TD-LTE band that is used in India and China. The next iterations of iPad and iPad mini are also expected to get the same support for more 4G networks.
iPad keyboard covers
Apple is rumoured to be working on keyboard covers for the iPads, similar to the covers that Microsoft debuted for the Surface tablets last year. Apple has made special covers for the iPad since the launch of the first model, but never made one with an integrated keyboard. It is not surprising that the company will launch accessories specific to a model since it unveiled leather and plastic back covers for the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, respectively.
Macbook Pro
The Macbook Pro is also expected to be refreshed tonight, with rumours pointing towards the integration of Intel's new Haswell chip. This chipset will results in an increase in computing power, graphics and battery life.
The device is also expected to get the Retina display and an upgrade FaceTime camera capable of recording 1080p videos. The new Macbook Pro models showcased tonight and hit the market in time for the holiday season.
Mac Mini may also get a similar processor upgrade, embracing the Haswell chips to get a performance boost.
Apple debuted the revamped Mac Pro computer and OSX Mavericks operating system at WWDC 2013, though both are yet to hit the market. It is expected that Apple will announce the release date of the two products during tonight's event.
Rumours also talk about Apple upgrading its iPod classic and Apple TV, but there has been no word on the two products in the recent past.
