Xolo to launch a 4G enabled smartphone in Nov

NEW DELHI: Indian smartphone maker Xolo is gearing up to launch its first 4G LTE-enabled smartphone in the country.

According to a report on GSMArena, the device, dubbed LT900, will be formally launched in the first week of November.

Though not much is known about the device's specs, it is rumoured to have a 4.3-inch HD display along abd run on a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor.

The phone will have an 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash.

Xolo is also expected to launch an Android-powered dual core budget smartphone called A500L soon. The smartphone has already appeared on the company's website.

As per the listing, Xolo A500L sports a 4 inch touchscreen with 480x800 pixels resolution. It runs on a 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT6572 dual core processor and is powered by Android Jelly Bean 4.2 operating system. There's 4GB internal memory, 512MB RAM, 32GB expandable memory and 1500mAh battery. There's a 3MP rear camera and a VGA camera in front.

Xolo's domestic rival Micromax is also expected to launch a 4G-enabled smartphone in December.
