The wearable device sports a colour LED screen and is water-resistant. In addition to allowing users to count the number of steps taken, distance traveled and calories burnt, it also notifies them of missed calls and messages. The band comes with a pair of earphones through which it measures heart rate via optical sensors.
The band will come in black colour and will be compatible with both Android and iOS devices, synchronizing through respective apps via Bluetooth 4.0. No other details related to pricing or specifications are available at this time.
This fitness band had leaked online a few days back and was expected to be unveiled at CES, though LG had not officially detailed it. However, an official press release that appeared on LG's Korean website, has now confirmed the device's presence.
