Tech Mahindra sets up third delivery centre in Germany

HYDERABAD: IT major Tech Mahindra on Thursday announced that the company has inaugurated a third near shore delivery center in Dusseldorf, Germany. In 2013, the company had set up two centers in Den Haag and Brussels. Tech Mahindra already serves its European customers through 26 offices across 31 cities in Europe and derives 31% of its revenues from the European markets.

"The 50-seat Dusseldorf center is an important milestone in Tech Mahindra's increasing network of delivery centers in Europe. This will bring us closer to some of our key customers in the Nordrhein-Westfalen (NRW) region. The company aims to ramp up its presence in the region significantly within the next few months. The center also plans to engage with local academia to provide work experience to the students," the company said in a release.

The company also stated that the center is being supported by the German recruitment, human resources and accounts teams and will be fully integrated with its global delivery infrastructure.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Tech Mahindra Europe head (telecom) Vishaal Gupta said, "The Dusseldorf delivery center reinforces our commitment to key customers in Germany and will enable us to bridge the cultural and language gap. This delivery center, in the heart of NRW will also help us attract and retain local talent which is crucial to the next phase of our growth in the region."
