The 10.5-inch AMOLED tablet is said to run Android 4.4 KitKat.

NEW DELHI: It appears that Samsung is working on a new 10.5-inch Super AOLED display equipped tablet.
According to a report by Samsung focused website SamMobile, the tablet sporting model number SM-T800, will feature a display with a resolution of 2560x1600pixels. It will be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon processor (most likely Snapdragon 801) and 2GB of RAM. The Wi-Fi-only tablet will run Android 4.4 KitKat with Samsung's TouchWiz UI on top, and feature an Ultra Power Saving mode that takes advantage of AMOLED displays to disable select features to extend battery life.
The report adds that the tablet will sport an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. It will come in 16, 32 and 54GB storage variants with support for a microSD card slot. The tablet will have a 7,900mAh battery.
The website had earlier reported that Samsung was working on three AMOLED screen tablets including 3G and LTE capable tablets. Samsung uses LCD displays on its tablets barring the Galaxy Tab 7.7 which sports an AMOLED one. It is expected that Samsung's new AMOLED tablets will be expensive compared to its other tablets. There's been no official word from the company on the matter.
