Find out your CBSE board results via SMS

NEW DELHI: With CBSE set to announce results for Class 10th and 12th by May-end, a SMS-based service provider is making it easier for students to find out their results. TxtWeb, a cloud-based platform by Intuit, is providing exam results to students via text messages.

Students who gave Class 10th examinations this year can send the message SMS@cbse10 to 51115 to get their scores. Similarly, those who sat for Class 12th examinations simply need to send SMS@cbse12 to 51115 to get their results via text message.

The service is live on Airtel, Vodafone, Idea and Tata Docomo and Re 1 is charged for each message.

Commenting on the service, Manish Maheshwari, managing director, txtWeb, said, "These apps let the student register for the exam result and send it out automatically to the student's mobile via SMS in real time. The aim of these apps is to empower all Indian students and equip them with information on the go."
