The image of the front panel shows that LG will maximize the screen-to-size ratio in G3, as it did with the G2 smartphone. LG G3's display will be surrounded by ultra-thin bezels and will not have any hardware keys below the screen.
Hardware buttons (Power as well Volume Up and Down) will once again be on the rear panel, in line with the design language debuted last year. On back is dual-tone LED flash, similar to the one used in HTC One (M8) and Apple iPhone 5S.
LG G3 is expected to be the first smartphone by a top manufacturer to feature QHD display (2560x1440p resolution); even new models by the likes of Samsung, HTC and Sony feature Full HD displays at present. Samsung and HTC are reportedly working on QHD screen phones though.
LG G3 is said to be powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core snapdragon 800 processor; this is the same processor that powers the LG G2. On the other hand, latest top-end smartphones in the market use the newer Snapdragon 801 chipset.
Other key LG G3 specifications are 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, microSD expansion, 13MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. The smartphone is expected to have connectivity options like 4G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and be resistant to water and dust.
Powered by Android 4.4 (KitKat), LG's new G3 smartphone is said to feature a revamped user interface, with flatter icons and a personal assistant like Google Now, Siri, S Voice and Cortana.
