Jimmy Lin has posted pictures on his official Weibo account featuring him and two phones. One of the two phones is an iPhone 5, while the other one is allegedly the iPhone 6. The phone's design does look similar to the phone pictured in recent leaks.
Last year, Lin had posed with a phone that turned out to be the iPhone 5C, before its release. So he has a good record going by the past.
Lin has uploaded pictures that feature the front as well as back panels of the alleged iPhone 6 side by side with iPhone 5S and 5.
The first image shows that the next-generation iPhone could have extremely narrow bezels.It also shows how the phone is considerably taller and broader than the iPhone 5S. So it's likely that the new phone has a much bigger display (4.7-inch/5.5-inch) Just like iPhone 5S, the phone pictured has a Touch ID sensor integrated with the Home button.
The back of the phone features an all-metal panel with cutouts for the antenna at the top and bottom and slimmer, rounded edges. Similar to previous leaks, the Power button is located at the right edge of the phone. This is also in line with rumours suggesting that the new iPhone is said to sport a larger display.
Just a few days back, pictures allegedly featuring iPhone 6's metal chassis appeared online courtesy Chinese website Xiaolongchakan. The images featured a metal rear case with cutouts for the antenna and rounded edges that are much thinner compared to the iPhone 5/5S.
Apple's next-generation iPhone is expected to arrive in fall (September-October). It has been reported several times in the past that Apple will unveil two iPhones this year, one with a 4.7-inch screen and other with 5.5- or 5.7-inch display.
In February this year, the first set of leaked iPhone images surfaced on the internet. These images showed that the next-generation iPhone will sport a design similar to that of iPad Air and be much thinner than the iPhone 5S.
Other rumoured features of the next-generation iPhone include health-centred apps, 13MP camera, solar charging, scratch-resistant sapphire screen, better battery and faster Wi-Fi.
