Intex launches Aqua Y2 Pro at Rs 4,333

NEW DELHI: Indian handset maker Intex has launched Aqua Y2 Pro, a new entry-level smartphone at Rs 4,333. Available in black and navy blue colours, the phone will be available through Intex's physical distribution network. Apart from that, the handset can also be bought via TV shopping channels and e-commerce websites too.

Intex Aqua Y2 Pro sports a 4.5-inch, FWVGA (480x854p) display. Powered by a 1GHz dual core processor, the phone comes with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. It has a microSD card slot that can support cards of up to 32GB capacity.

The Aqua Y2 Pro sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera.

In terms of connectivity, the dual sim phone supports 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.It has a 1600mAh battery.

The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat. Commenting on the introduction, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, mobile business head, Intex Technologies said, "The Aqua Y2 PRO as the name suggests is handcrafted for the gen-Y crowd and is our latest addition to the Aqua collection. With a unique pricing, the all new Y2 PRO runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and is the most reasonably priced 3G smartphone in 4.5 inch screen. We are proud to announce a phone which is made for the millennials."
