Cheapest Windows Phone 8.1 handset launched at Rs 4,979

NEW DELHI: Domestic mobile phone brand Celkon has launched Win 400, a budget Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone at Rs 4,979. At the current price, it is the cheapest Windows Phone handset available in the market, at this time.

The phone sports a 4-inch display (800x480p). Powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and 512MB RAM, the phone comes with 4GB storage and a microSD card slot that supports cards of up to 32GB.

It features a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3MP front-facing camera.

The dual-sim phone offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity options. Celkon Win 400 comes with a 1500mAh battery and will be available in black and white colour variants.

The phone will compete with the likes of Nokia Lumia 630 and Micromax Canvas Win W092.
