Lava Iris Win 1 with Windows Phone 8.1 launched at Rs 4,999

NEW DELHI: Domestic mobile phone brand Lava has launched Iris Win1, its first Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone at Rs 4,999. The phone will be exclusively available on Flipkart starting December 4.

At the current price, it is among the cheapest Windows Phone handsets available in the market.

The phone sports a 4-inch WVGA TN display (800x480p). Powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and 1GB RAM, the phone comes with 8GB storage and a microSD card slot that supports cards of up to 32GB.

It features a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP front-facing camera.

The dual-sim (3G+2G) phone offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity options. Lava Iris Win1 comes with a 1950mAh battery. This device comes with a Flip Cover and screen guard inside the box along with other standard accessories like charger, Earphone, USB Cable and user manual.

The phone will compete with the likes of Nokia Lumia 630 and Micromax Canvas Win W121.
