Minecraft creator outbids Beyonce to buy $70 million home

WASHINGTON: Beyonce and Jay-Z lost their bid to Minecraft creator Markus Persson to buy $70 million mega mansion in Beverly Hills, California.

According to Curbed, it was all but expected that the music duo would win the bid, however they lost to Persson.

Persson became wealthy after Microsoft bought the game for $2.5 billion.

The posh mega mansion is outfitted with a candy room, a car showroom, vodka and tequila bars, a 54-foot curved glass door that opens onto the pool, eight bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, apartment-sized closets, and a movie theater.
