Canon launches Maxify business inkjet printers

NEW DELHI: Canon India has introduced the new Maxify range of business inkjet printers targeted at small and home offices. The Maxify MB5370 are priced at Rs 23,995, while Maxify MB5070 will be available at Rs 17,995. Both of the models are multifunctional printers. The Maxify iB4070 single-function printer will retail at Rs 10,995.

According to Canon, these printers offer enhanced features including high speed printing, low cost per print, cloud printing capabilities and wireless connectivity to smart devices.

The printers are for SOHOs consumers from sectors like healthcare, education, hospitality and other services industry.

Maxify printer range caters to high volume printing requirements with a duty cycle of upto 30,000 prints per month. For business with extensive printing needs, the MB5370 & iB4070 inkjet printers are equipped with two 250-sheet paper cassettes. For organizations with moderate printing volumes, the MB5070 comes with a single 250-sheet cassette.

The Maxify printers are compatible with the optional XL Cartridges which offer a yield of approximately 2500 pages black and 1500 pages colour prints. These printers also feature high print speeds of up to 23 ipm mono and 15 ipm color.

The Scan to Network feature allows scanned images to be sent to storage in a shared network folder, so that other users in the office can look up the information. Scan to Email allows scanned images to be sent to any email address.

Wi-Fi connectivity allows not just Desktops and PCs to connect to the printers, but also smartphones and tablets, allowing people to print while on the go.

Maxify Printing Solutions (MPS) app is compatible with iOS and Android OS platforms allows printing of PDF, images and other office formats from mobile devices. Scanning is also possible with the MPS app.

Canon says it will be working with channel partners and Value Added Resellers (VARs) in all major cities to bring these printers and its related services to SOHO consumers.
