It's not clear if the phone will make it to India and other Asian markets but media reports indicate that HTC does not intend to introduce it in the US, UK and European markets.
HTC One M9+ has a 5.2-inch display with QHD (1440x2560p) resolution, making it the only HTC phone to feature a 2K panel.
Unlike the One M9, however, the M9+ is not powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It has a 2.2GHz MediaTek MT6795T (Helio X) octa-core processor along with 3GB RAM. It comes with 32GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It has a physical Home button that also doubles up as a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
The One M9+ runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with HTC's Sense UI 7 skin running on top.
The phone features a 20MP rear camera complete with the duo-camera setup that also includes an additional camera lens for depth sensing, just like the One M8. It's worth pointing out that the One M9 doesn't include the duo-camera setup. The One M9+ also has an UltraPixel front-facing camera for selfies.
One M9+ supports 3G, 4G, Bluetooth, NFC and Infrared connectivity options and has a 2840mAh battery.
