Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 listed at Rs 36,340

NEW DELHI: Samsung has started selling its Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 tablet in the Indian market, almost an year after it was first announced. The 10.1-inch tablet has been listed on Samsung India eStore at a price of Rs 36,340. Available in white colour option, the tablet is currently out of stock.

The tablet's display sports a resolution of 1280x800p. It is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core intel Atom Z2560 processor and 1GB RAM, and comes with 16GB internal storage expandable up to 64GB via microSD card.

Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, an older iteration of Android. It sports a 3MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. In terms of connectivity options, the tablet supports 3G,Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It comes with a 6800mAh battery.

It is worth pointing out that Samsung has already announced its next-generation Tab 4 range of tablets which includes a 10.1-inch model. The tablet runs Android 4.4 KitKat and will be available starting second quarter of 2014. The Tab 4 tablets sport a resolution of 1280x800p and are powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1.5GB RAM. These tablets also sport a 3MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front camera.
